Pandora Wolfe is the first in a series of books about the adventures of Pandora Wolfe, a 13 year old living in modern London with her incredibly vain and self-centred grandmother, Stella. Pandora (Pan to her friends, if she'd had any) is used to looking after herself, a skill which comes in extremely handy after she recieves a mysterious letter and begins a series of events which propel her to the village of Milton’s Snare in the year 1894.
It’s an odd place where almost everyone has secrets, her included. There she discovers family she never knew existed, makes unusual friends, faces an evil hypnotist, magical circus performers, corrupt politicians and a werewolf in a mystery involving time travel, a kidnapping and the secret of her own origins.
